About our Restaurant
While Bear's Poboys at Gennaro's opened its doors in the fall of 2010, our roast beef recipe has its' roots as far back as the 1970s. Many locals will agree that Bear's roast beef poboy is the best in town. We roast our own beef and chill it before slicing it against the grain. Then we marinate the roast beef in our special gravy for extra flavor and juiciness and serve it on local fresh-baked Leidenheimer French bread.
Our roast beef is what started it all, but since we love to cook and share our delicious food with others, we have expanded our menu to include some of the south's best comfort food around.
